A Dynamic Volunteering Experience.

 

Volunteering with Youth League UK is flexible, varied and hands‑on. No two days look the same. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities across our Play Rangers and Youth Support programmes.

Expect to carry out the following roles/activities

Play Activities

  • Help set up and pack away equipment

  • Support safe outdoor play

  • Encourage creativity through arts, crafts, drama or sports

  • Assist children aged 8–11 to build confidence and have fun

Youth Support Activities

  • Offer encouragement and wellbeing‑focused support

  • Help young people in group or 1‑2‑1 settings

  • Assist with basic admin, forms and record‑keeping

  • Support children with additional needs

General Tasks

  • Light admin and session preparation

  • Helping at events and workshops

  • Being a positive role model

All Roles involving vulnerable people require a DBS check, handled confidentially.

When volunteers finish their role, they can give feedback and request a reference. We support volunteers to move on to new opportunities.
