A Dynamic Volunteering Experience.
Volunteering with Youth League UK is flexible, varied and hands‑on. No two days look the same. You’ll have the opportunity to get involved in a wide range of activities across our Play Rangers and Youth Support programmes.
Expect to carry out the following roles/activities
Play Activities
Help set up and pack away equipment
Support safe outdoor play
Encourage creativity through arts, crafts, drama or sports
Assist children aged 8–11 to build confidence and have fun
Youth Support Activities
Offer encouragement and wellbeing‑focused support
Help young people in group or 1‑2‑1 settings
Assist with basic admin, forms and record‑keeping
Support children with additional needs
General Tasks
Light admin and session preparation
Helping at events and workshops
Being a positive role model

A named contact for ongoing support.
All Roles involving vulnerable people require a DBS check, handled confidentially.

Volunteers can claim out‑of‑pocket expenses, such as travel, while carrying out agreed duties.

When volunteers finish their role, they can give feedback and request a reference. We support volunteers to move on to new opportunities.
